Wallet of Memories

We are going to keep the "for men only" theme going for the entire month of June.  We all still need ideas for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.  This cute trifold wallet came from a pattern found in a Card Creations several years ago.  Each "slot" creates a great place to store gift cards, extra pictures or fun little notes or IOUs.  The right third of the wallet actually uses a picture holder from a "real" wallet.  We found these were NOT very easy to find since most billfolds or wallets do not come with these anymore.  We ordered them online.  These would also look great with the faux leather look many are doing on the purses. (Finished size - 3"x4" closed, and 9"x4" open)

 

Coaster "Album"

This album is the perfect size for a desk at home or the office.  It is made from 3 coasters and covered with SU's DSP.  I embellished it with chipboard, punches and hardware.  I actually bought the hinges at the hardware store because most of the scrapbook stores aren't carrying the little hinges anymore.  You just have to substitute brads for the screws.  This makes a great gift for anyone, not just dads or grandpas.

May 2009 Week 4 Using Top Note Die from Stampin' Up!

Again, in honor of National Scrapbooking month, what better way to use your Stampin' Up! Top Note Die. I'm a "little"; well, okay, a "lot"  behind on my scrapbooking so this project was especially fun to create.  I feel good about actually getting some scrapbooking done! I used the Top Note die to create this mini photo album of some of my daughters wedding photos.  Colors are Blush Blossom and Chocolate Chip.

Mini Photo Book

This was a fun little project I did using a tutorial from Splitcoast, by Angie Tieman.  I used this idea for one of my club members 15 year old's birthday party.  They loved it!
