Another Two Pocket Folder Idea!

Here we have made another sample of our two pocket folder, you can find it here, which has been embellished with a library pocket. 

The "To Do List" list fits in the pocket and creates a fun embellishment for the front of this folder.

These next ideas are ones we shared earlier with you that also used the library pocket as an embellishment.  The little bag is an idea we also shared and you can find step-by-step instructions here.

You can change the embellishment on the front of these bags and change the whole look.  You could also fill these pockets with other goodies!

Take 2 Tuesday - "Things To Do" Birthday

How about a birthday organizer?  What a great gift idea....an organizer that keeps track of your birthdays and you do NOT have to transfer them to a new calendar every year.

Supplies used:

• Card stock - Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Real Red, So Saffron, Old Olive
• DSP - Play Date
• Embellishments - Scallop Trim Border punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Big Bold Cupcakes Big Shot die, Eyelet border punch, Chocolate chip ink and sponge

 

The four inside pockets are divided by the quarter - January, February and March in the first pocket and so on. 

 
We printed our "months" on Whisper White card stock and used the Round Tab punch to create tabs for the top of each insert.  We used one of the flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack to embellish the cake and the tabs.

 
We created a large cake to decorate the front of our organizer.  We also covered a large binder clip with DSP to coordinate with the organizer.

Royal Blog Tour & Morning Cup

Welcome to the Royal Blog Tour on MeGa Stampin' Studio.  We are featuring the Stampin' Up! stamp set, Morning Cup.  We have also incorporated the coordinating wheel, Take a Sip.  We have created an ensemble of fun gifts or decor ideas that would be great for your kitchen, a gift for a girlfriend, etc. 

The first gift or decor idea is this 6" x 6" frame that we have embellished with bottle caps, Designer Series Paper, buttons and cut out coffee cups.  We printed a fun quote onto Very Vanilla card stock, layered with coordinating card stock.  Very fun and quite easy to coordinate with any favorite color scheme.

 

Next up is our set of four coasters.  These are made with the regular 4" square coasters, covered with Very Vanilla card stock, sponged and embellished with stamps from the Morning Cup stamp set.  We actually enlarged the stamps and ran our Designer Series Paper (DSP) through the printer so we could paper piece each stamp.

 

Coffee cozies are all the rage so we created one with felt.  We used the enlarged coffee cup as a pattern to cut felt cups and hearts.  The scallop trim was made with felt cut from the Stampin' Up! exclusive Big Shot die, Tasteful Trim.  Notice our cup is sitting on another coaster that was decorated with the original stamps, colored and sponged.

 

For our miniature tree (perfect for the kitchen or a desk), we created coffee-themed ornaments.  All the stamped images were stamped or layered on Very Vanilla card stock. Some were colored and some were paper pieced.  We covered these with acrylic pieces. We added small decorated tea-dyed tags.  Notice they are attached with mini clothes pins!

 

Last, we stamped directly on to a tea-dyed tea towel.   This could be done for a whole set of matching towels, napkins or we actually put one around the base of our tree as a tree skirt!  We did stamp on the towel with permanent ink.

Take 2 Tuesday - "Things To Do" Tutorial

 For our November Take 2 Tuesdays, we have chosen to share with you five (yes, there are five Tuesdays in November) wonderful ideas using the Things To Do tutorial.  First up is this great Christmas/Holiday organizer.  We have embellished this organizer with the Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' kit, Christmas Cheer.  We embellished the front with our Vintage tea-dyed crinkle ribbon and buttons.

 
For this organizer, we changed the inserts to coordinate with our theme - Holiday Wish List, Santa's List, Menu, Who's Coming to Dinner, Grocery List, Christmas Card list.  Each of our inserts has been embellished with the self-adhesive die cuts from the Simply Scrappin' kit.

 
The organizer consists of four pockets so you can choose which inserts to use or use them all and double up in a couple of the pockets.

Happy Birthday Coffee Cozy Idea

We've shared how to create a four page Coffee Cozy album and a six page Halloween mini album, so how about something on a smaller scale

This sweet little 2-page album is actually a gift card holder.  The step-by-step tutorial will give you details on how to put your albums together but this one is held together with 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

 
Here is the inside.  You can see we put a sentiment on the inside just like a card.  You can see the the gift card is attached to the pocket insert with glue dots so as not to damage the gift card.

 
The pocket insert has a tab attached so that it shows above the cozy card.  We used the Round Tab punch to create the "for you" tab.

 
The card/albums are all made with cardboard coffee cozies - like you see at coffee shops.

Halloween Treat Basket

This Halloween Treat Basket is another version of one we created for Easter which you can see here.  You can see how different each basket looks by changing the paper and embellishments!

This handle is made with card stock and ribbon. The card stock is punched with the Eyelet Border punch.

Supplies:

• Card stock - Basic Black
• DSP - Pumpkin Pie Designer Series
• Embellishments - 1-1/4" Black Striped Grosgrain ribbon, 1/4" black grosgrain ribbon, orange pom pom trim, black beaded trim, non-SU tag and Halloween button, eyelet border punch

Take 2 Tuesday - Happy "Holly"-days!!

This is our last August Take 2 Tuesday featuring the Altoid tin .   Be sure to join us in September for a new featured tutorial.

The holidays will be upon us before we know it so we are celebrating Christmas in July....well August.  This tin features some non-SU holly patterned paper and some wonderful musical notes paper which is so "IN" right now.

The top is decorated with a stamped image from the new stamp set, Perfect Punches!  It was stamped twice; once in Real Red and once in Basic Black ink. We then used the 1-3/4" Scallop circle and 1-3/8" circle punches.

The tin has been covered with more of the coordinating papers, a border and embellished with ribbon, and a button that has been tied with red and white baker's twine.

We've included extra goodies..... buttons, brads, extra ribbon and paper.

Take 2 Tuesday - Sugar and Spice......

Last week we featured our little boy and this week it is all about the girls!!!  This is definitely a week of "precious and pink."

This adorable DSP makes the softest looking project.  The small crocheted flower is such a dainty touch. It perfectly compliments our "beary" special girl.  Take a peak inside.....she is such a doll.

No details were spared for our little girl.  Some of the details may be hard to see but her entire wardrobe has been paper pieced.  Her dress and the flower in her hair are Pink Pirouette DSP; even her white collar has been cut out separately.  She has on black patent leather shoes embellished with a tiny rhinestone.  Her flower has a tiny rhinestone as well.  It might be hard to see but but we're telling you, she has it all.  She has been stamped, cut out and dressed up!

You will receive extra DSP, punched card stock flowers that fit the included itty bitty clear buttons, ribbon and one of the hand-crocheted flowers Gayla made.  The tin comes with the inside pages already cut, scored and decorated with matching DSP.

Take 2 Tuesday - "Beary" Cute Boy!

This has to be one of the cutest ideas we've come up with yet.  Oh wait, maybe next week's is!  Guess you will have to check back next Tuesday to judge for yourself. :)  What can we say, we love them all!

Our featured tin this week - "Beary" Cute Boy!  We kept the front clean and simple....you know, little boys don't like lots of "fluff."  The buttons are our retired Pumpkin Pie corduroy buttons.

 

The "beary" cute boy is on the lid of the tin.  He is absolutely adorable and made using the Stampin' Up! Build-a-Bear set, Beary Best Friends. 

Be sure to check out all the details - we did alot of paper piecing.  Don't miss his shoe laces....they are tiny tied black thread laces.  The balloon has actual black string attached.  This guy is going in our Etsy shop today!  Scroll down for a list of the additional goodies that come with him.

The tin is covered with Pawsitively Paws DSP and the lid is trimmed with orange grosgrain ribbon. Our boy has been stamped, cut out and his clothes are all paper-pieced.

You get lots of extra goodies with this tin.... extra DSP, buttons, eyelets, even an extra shirt!  The inside pages have been covered with matching DSP and ready for decorating.

Take 2 Tuesday - My Summer Trip
