Happy Spring!! We are so ready for spring here in the midwest. We have actually been having a few warmer days so we were inspired to make a "Spring" banner in celebration. This banner is made with the jumbo bottle caps. We have been having so much fun playing with them.
Here is what they look like before we spray painted them. We just used an ivory metal paint. If you are interested in purchasing some of these, please check it out here. Also, if you haven't seen all the new My Mind's Eye patterned paper, you can check that out here.
The photo below shows how they look after they have been painted. We used the Serif Essentials Alphabet dies to cut out "S-P-R-I-N-G." We also used the Lacey Scallop Circle from Spellbinders.
We used Stampin' Up's Pennant die for the actual banners. We die cut them from Naturals Ivory card stock and we sponged everything. We used crinkled hand-dyed ribbon to string this entire banner. We embellished the bottom of each "triangle" with a felted wool ball.
We also used some of our new Epiphany bubble caps between each banner. These can also be found here in the Two Paper Divas store. The possibilities for these are endless. Aren't they too fun!!
To see another fun project using these jumbo bottle caps, please go to Two Paper Divas today, to see another fun project.
Have a great weekend.
