This pattern has tons of possibilities. When we got together to work on the projects for this month, we were happy knowing that there were only four Tuesdays in the month of October because we thought we might struggle coming up with ideas. We were surprised when the ideas just kept coming. So if you read all the way to the end of the post, you'll see that we HAD to add one more idea. Be sure to read through the entire post to see a recap of all the projects this month, plus the bonus idea!!
First, take a look at this idea. For the last "Take 2 Tuesday" in October, we have chosen to use the Gift Tote pattern as a container, well actually a great "pot" for a miniature Christmas Tree!
This is a pretty fancy pot....so fancy, that it has a shaker window!
The window was created by using an Oval and Scallop Oval Nestabilities die.
The shaker was created using Stampin' dimensionals for the frame and then we added some chunky white glitter for the snow. The card stock is Marina Mist and was cut out using the scallop die.
The snow man stamp is from the Stampin' Up! set, Jolly Old Saint Nick.

The DSP is from the Simply Scrappin' Kit, Christmas Cheer, that can be found on page 179 of the current Stampin' Up! catalog.
The ribbon is Marina Mist Taffeta and we've added a chipboard star that has been inked with a White Craft pad and then heat set using Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
The words on the tag are also from the Jolly Old Saint Nick set. They are stamped in black and then punched out using the Large Oval punch.
Now, how about another idea for this creative container?
Who doesn't always need another packaging idea for the holidays? This container could be used for any type of gift, clothes, cookies, candy, goodies, a nice bottle of wine, you name it. If it fits, use it!
We hope you have enjoyed all the great ideas we've created this month using the gift tote tutorial. Be sure to continue reading if you want to see the recap of all the projects this month and the special little bonus idea!

And now for the recap of all the projects. You can click on any one of the pictures and it will take you to the post for all the details.
First was our fall gift tote. Don't forget to click on the picture so you can check out how we created the handles for this idea. We know how felt is all the craze so take a look at this idea.
Here we showed how to incorporate felt, re-size the template and make this fun little candy corn gift tote. Be sure to check this one out because we shared a recipe for a great treat. And we can't forget this one!
What a cute idea for a gift card. Lastly, let us take you way back to when we first created this project.
And now for the bonus idea. We love the new Stampin' Up! fabrics so why not use this pattern to create these ideas.
A coin purse, or a lovely bag for a piece of jewelry you want to give as a gift,
or use it as a safe place for necklaces or earrings when you travel.
We used spray adhesive to attach the fabric to a thin piece of batting. Then we cut the reduced size pattern from that. We sewed right sides together and then turned it inside out. We used the same fabric as the inside lining to create a "band" that we ran our ribbon through to create a drawstring.
The drawstring was created with some of our wrinkle vintage ribbon that was dyed with SU's Cherry Cobbler reinker.
Thanks for stopping today and we hope to see you all tomorrow!
