Take 2 Tuesday - Candy Cane Christmas Cupcake

Here is our last cupcake "remake" for September.  While these cupcakes are designed to be pin cushions, there is no reason you couldn't just make these for decorations or party favors.  Who wouldn't love to have this sitting by their place setting at a holiday, birthday, graduation, etc. party.  Any color theme works.

This fun cupcake was made with the following supplies:

  • DSP - Candy Cane Christmas
  • Other - white fleece, Cherry Cobbler vintage ribbon, acrylic circles, Crystal Effects, Real Red re-inker

 

For this cupcake, we embellished the white fleece with these non-SU flat-back acrylic "dots".  These were clear and we colored them with Crystal Effects and Real Red re-inker.  We love the polka dots!

This cupcake is available today on Etsy....we only have one!!!  Of course, you can purchase the tutorial, and make your own.  Check back next Tuesday to see what we have in-store for our October "remakes."
