Last one, I promise...well, maybe. Hehe
My good friend and fellow demonstrator and downline, Linda Wright, made me one these awesome purses using the Big Shot scallop square die!! I know most of you have probably seen them floating around on the web but it was such a special gift and she did such a fantastic job using the color combo that I LOVE - Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip - that I just had to share.
So, when Linda gave it to me it didn't look quite like this. :) I loved the bright cheery look of the fabric but I'm such an "antique" freak that I had to tea dye it. I know Linda will approve and I did tell her before doing it so she wouldn't be surprised. My stampin' gals know me as the distressing, sponging, direct-to-paper queen so it came as no surprise to her that I just HAD to make my new purse look old.
This lovely gift has found a home hanging on the back of my chair (when it's not being used) at my desk. The color combo and her choice of fabric makes it a "perfect fit" in my stamping studio. Thanks again to my dear friend, Linda. Hugs, Melissa
