Today is Good Friday and our last basket idea before Easter. We have enjoyed creating all these ideas over the last several weeks and hope you have enjoyed seeing them. Maybe we have even inspired you to create some for yourself or those special someones in your life.
This basket was made from a pattern we found here on Splitcoast Stampers. We used Ballet Blue card stock and Pawsitively Prints DSP.
The egg and chick come from the stamp set, A Good Egg. We stamped the chick, colored him with
a blender pen and So Saffron ink; then cut him out. We stamped the "rick rack" design on a scrap of DSP, glued it to the egg and then used it as a guide to cut off the top of the egg. The egg is hinged together using a blue brad. "Happy Easter" was stamped and punched out using the Word Window punch.
A piece of So Saffron ribbon from the Ribbon Originals Elementary collection was added to the handle using mini glue dots. Rhinestone brads secure the handle to the basket. A little bling on the egg, grass in the basket, add a few chocolate eggs and the basket is ready to go. Another great basket to share!
Thanks for stopping by today and we hope you all have a wonderful Easter!
