Whether you call these bookmarks or page savers, the two below were inspired by one I received from a swap at last year's convention. You simply slide them over the corner of your book or magazine page and, voila, no more damaged corners.
These two samples were made using the cute Love Sparkles Simply Scrappin' kit and the Big Shot Petal Card die. The small hearts and borders are part of the self-adhesive die cuts you receive in the kit. The tabs were made with the Round Tab punch and Chocolate Chip or Regal Rose card stock.
First, glue the DSP to a piece of Regal Rose card stock before cutting the Petal Card die. This creates the contrast, DSP on one side and card stock on the other, when you fold up two of the "petals." It also gives the book mark more stability thereby making it last longer. Add your "tab," punch a hole in the center and embellish with coordinating ribbon.
The next photo shows a close-up of one of the "page savers" on a page corner in a catalog. When the catalog is closed, the Round Tab punch piece and ribbon will easily help you find your place.
This fun "heart" would also make a great "treat" holder for Valentine's Day or a card base for a small note, tag or note card. Leave off the tab punch!

Cute idea.
