Do you remember Grandma teaching you how to do the blanket stitch? Well, we do and that stitch is all the rage right now for embellishing your projects. We created these fun pockets with the 5 point star. You need two stars for each pocket. Do NOT fold in the top two score lines. Bring the bottom point up to the opposite edge - just like last week's diamond. Put the wrong sides together and start stitching. Here is a link if you need help with the blanket stitch. Blanket Stitch instructions
This is a small pocket but it is perfect for this pack of gum (or a Ghiradelli square). We covered the gum with the new Sending Love Specialty DSP. We used one of the hearts from the Heart to Heart punch. It is made with Pretty In Pink card stock, sponged and embellished with a red heart button.
These are really fun and simple to make. This is a photo of what the "pocket" looks like folded but before the blanket stitching.

Congratulations! I just wanted you to know that your project will appear on the Yahoo Group Late Night Stamper’s blog finds of the day for January 28. It's always nice to see new ways to use our dies. What a great project! So clever. Thanks for sharing this.
